We are collecting your data for the purpose of generating a Supported Housing Strategy. We have a lawful basis for processing to comply with GDPR article 6. 1(c) legal obligation - section 2 of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023 - Equality Act 2010 public sector equality duty to advance equality of opportunity.
When processing special category data we rely on GDPR article 9 lawful basis Substantial Public Interest, specifically Data Protection Act 2018, Schedule 1, Part 2, paragraph 6 statutory and government purposes and paragraph 8 1(b) equality of opportunity or treatment.
Your data is extracted and anonymised by the data extractor within each department such as adults and children’s social care, housing plus revenues and benefits.
Your anonymised data may be shared externally with commissioned data analysts. They will use the anonymised data to clarify current provision and actual need to inform a strategy to address future requirements for supported housing.
We will not keep your data for longer than necessary, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain the data
We do not transfer your information outside the United Kingdom.
