A free and confidential service providing support and advice on all sexual health concerns, contraception and care and support for people living with HIV.

Brighton & Hove Sexual Health & Contraception Service (SHAC) is a free NHS service open to everyone. A GP does not need to refer you.

They have sexual health and contraception clinics at three locations with:

  • a range of walk-in services
  • bookable appointments and evening clinics
  • specialist clinics for:
    • men who have sex with men (Clinic M)
    • trans and non-binary people (Clinic T)
    • young people (YPC)
  • HIV and STI testing, treatment, PEP and PrEP
  • contraception, including emergency contraception
  • pregnancy testing
  • free at home STI testing kit vending machines
