Essential Safeguarding and Child Protection for Early Years Staff – delivered by Impact Training

This course is for staff new to early years or for those who may not have had safeguarding training for a while to keep up to date. 

About

It will give you the essential knowledge, confidence and skills to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns in line with the EYFS and local safeguarding procedures. 

By the end of this course, you will be able to: 

  • recognise the signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect 
  • handle concerns and disclosures with confidence 
  • understand your responsibilities under the EYFS and Children Acts 
  • follow correct reporting, recording and referral pathways 
  • work with others to support children in need of protection
