Safeguarding LEAD policies and procedures training – Delivered by Impact Training

This course is for staff in early years settings who are new to the role of safeguarding lead or who have not been in a safeguarding lead role or completed safeguarding lead full day training for over 2 years.

About

By the end of this course, you will:

  • gain knowledge and information to develop a comprehensive set of safeguarding policies and procedures for your setting 
  • recognise the importance of a child protection policy and your role in ensuring that it is appropriate and fit for purpose 
  • understand the role and responsibilities of safeguarding leads and designated child protection staff

On the training day, you will need: 

  • a pen and paper or laptop or tablet to take notes
  • copies of your own organisation’s policies and procedures
