Walk 2: Saltdean to Rottingdean Linear

Bus number 27 Coaster at top of Saltdean Vale shops

1. From the bus stop at the top of Saltdean Vale, head up to the bridleway on the corner of Coombe Vale. Follow the bridleway past the football club up to Pickershill Farm. Keep right until you come to a waymark post where you turn left
2. Walk up the hill, alongside the fence and through the gate. Continue up until you come to a second gate. Do not go through the gate, but turn left, heaing past the cottages.
3. Pass through the next gate. Go straight on towards Rottingdean, until you get to Westmeston Avenue.
4. Turn right onto the track and follow the path down to Whiteways Lane. Walk to the bottom of the lane, then turn left onto Vicarage Lane, which comes out onto the High Street, where you can catch the bus number 2 or 2a, or continue down to the coast road where there are frequent buses towards Brighton or Eastbourne.
