Corporate volunteering team days

Volunteering on one of our team days is a great way for your organisation to help improve our green spaces for wildlife and the local community. 

Getting your employees working together outside, doing something different from their usual work activities can be fun and rewarding. 

What’s included

After booking, just turn up on the day dressed for working outdoors. We recommend sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. 

We'll provide: 

• full instructions to send out to your team 
• all tools and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like gloves
• on the day training and guidance 
• light refreshments - tea, coffee and biscuits 
• insurance 
• risk assessments 

The activities you can get involved with

We have a variety of tasks which all improve our parks and nature reserves. We'll try to match your group to an activity that suits you. Not all tasks are available at all times of year, so if you have something specific in mind, you may have to wait until the right season. 

Some of the tasks available are: 

• spring and summer -  gardening tasks in the city centre parks including weeding, cutting back, clearing paths and mulching
• autumn and winter - wildflower area maintenance, chalk grassland conservation and scrub removal in our downland nature reserves, coppicing in our woodlands, occasional tree and hedge planting

How much it costs

Our minimum rate is £300 for a session with a maximum of 20 attendees, running from 10am until 3pm on a weekday. We can provide a bespoke price for sessions outside of those parameters. 

Payment is made by invoice.
