Emergency junction closure to repair gas leak
Update Friday, 8 November
The closure of the Dyke Road junction with the Upper Drive is likely to remain in place over the weekend and into Monday while Southern Gas Networks (SGN) investigate the source of a major gas leak.
SGN engineers are working constantly to fix this as soon as possible
The Dyke Road junction with the Upper Drive was closed on Thursday afternoon to enable Southern Gas Networks (SGN) to gain access to the site.
This is a major junction just off the A27 bypass.
Please avoid the area if at all possible as delays and congestion are likely.
Warning signs and local diversions have been put in place and SGN have contacted local schools and bus operators.
