When the Food Standards Agency issues food alerts
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) shares information about food-related problems.
When needed, it publishes withdrawal or recall notices if a solution is in place. For example, the business stops selling the product or recalls it from people who’ve bought it.
The FSA issues a Food Alert for Action when enforcement authorities need to get involved. They often issue these alerts alongside the business’s product withdrawal or recall.
