About the Windlesham Close development

As part of the New Homes for Neighbourhoods programme, the council proposes to build a block of up to 15 new council homes on the site of Windlesham House, on the corner of Windlesham Close and Locks Crescent in Portslade.

The development will build much-needed 1 and 2 bedroom council homes, with one home being wheelchair accessible. The surrounding green spaces will also be improved with new planting and trees.

Demolition of the building is now complete.

We're now in the process of appointing a main contractor to carry out the construction phase.

As soon as we have appointed the main contractor, we will invite residents to a ‘meet and greet’ session.
