Ambulance bays allow ambulances to park close to hospitals. They're used to easily pick up and drop off patients.

They're also used by ambulances as a place to wait, so they can respond quickly to emergencies.

Parking in an ambulance bay

Only an ambulance can park in an ambulance bay.

Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) for parking in an ambulance bay

If you receive a PCN for parking in an ambulance bay, you can either pay the PCN or appeal the PCN.
